Otis Global Service System (GSS) is an enterprise initiative of implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Otis sales, field service and call center globally. The Software Factory Director owns responsibility to provide design, build and deliver new Global Service System functionalities and capabilities with highest quality standards. The Director will be responsible for managing all phases of the software development lifecycle and implement a metrics driven measurement of application development performance. Additionally, the Director will work closely with Solution Architect, PMO, Service Delivery, Platform and Deployment teams to provide world class CRM solution.

Drive and manage agile development methodology for GSS program
Design and Manage the entire software development lifecycle for GSS program
Oversee the design, development and quality assurance
Mentor engineers to utilize best practices on design sessions, until testing, and code reviews. Ensure that corporate policies related to these initiative are upheld through to the development cycle.
Manage the day-to-day activities of projects and staff. Communicate with the development team routinely to ensure deliveries are on schedule
Make recommendations to program executive management about development schedule, prioritizations, and resource allocations
Manage application backlog to align development to GSS Product owners and Solution Architect teams.

Manage third party and vendors required to build and deliver functionalities and capabilities for GSS program
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field.

Technical background (software development/engineering, systems administration, testing/QA, technical management) and solid foundational knowledge of modern system design principles
5+ years of technical development expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365
At least 5 years of hands-on Agile experience and experience managing and coaching teams of Agile practitioners
Familiarity with cloud technology
Self-starter with results oriented, proactive management approach
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
Outstanding problem solver.
Strong communication skills; experience presenting to executives
Ability to work effectively with remote teams from different countries, as well as the WHQ team located in Farmington, CT
