You will serve as a technical lead for the Navigation, Guidance, and Control team. Primary responsibility is to lead NG&C design & analysis engineering activities. Overall goal of the organization is to produce NG&C subsystem deliverables.
As the NG&C lead you will lead engineers supporting NG&C algorithm development and test activities, associated IRAD, and concept studies across the program. You will provide management oversight to all NG&C planning, requirements generation, software verification & validation activities, and pre and post-test support. Normal responsibilities include liaison with other engineering disciplines and lines of business as appropriate, corporate contact, and execution of enterprise and corporate initiatives. Demonstrated experience with NG&C/FSW architectures and deployment in missile, spacecraft, or hypersonics application is highly desired. The candidate must function well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment.
Typically has 14 - 20 years of experience.

The candidate should have extensive technical expertise to work under minimal direction and provide technical leadership in at least one of the following: Hardware CPE, Mission Design (including orbit determination, trajectory planning, attitude planning), Attitude Controls, Attitude Determination, Relative Navigation, Integrated FSW/Sim and Testbed Simulation, or Payload Controls.
It is desired that the candidate is familiar with common software development processes and with software tools used during development (including MATLAB, Simulink, Visual Studio, and configuration management software).
