Kforce's client in Austin, Texas (TX) is looking for a Drupal 8 Full Stack Developer. Summary: This person will be responsible for understanding business requirements, working with a small but dynamic and highly productive team in configuring and customizing web interfaces. This position requires a fast-moving, results-oriented candidate with experience and skill in understanding, solving and developing for vastly different client problems/goals. Key Tasks:
  • Investigate, analyze, design, program and implement effective solutions to meet business and customer needs
  • Work with business partners to write technical specifications based on their requirements
  • Routinely communicate and interface with team members
  • Drupal server configuration setup, tuning, and monitoring
  • Drupal content types, fields, blocks, regions, views, themes, templates, modules and other Drupal elements
  • Advanced theming for custom look and feel supporting accessibility and responsive design
  • Custom development to support advanced or unique functionality
  • Integration with both internal and third-party APIs
  • Integration with Drupal plugins and modules
  • Usage of Drush to automate or simplify Drupal site management
  • Building and maintaining custom Drupal 8 themes (Responsive Design) and modules
  • Build new features based on technical specifications
  • Assist in the maintenance and updating of legacy in-house applications written in a variety of languages
  • Code and debug in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Conduct/Participate in peer quality assurance testing and code reviews
  • Search tuning with Apache Solr
  • Create technical documentation
  • Manage code deployments

Job Requirements:


  • 3 - 5+ years of professional experience building and supporting a medium to large Drupal site in Drupal 8
  • 3+ years of experience in Drupal site building, administration, custom module development, configuration management/features and theming
  • Up to date with new Drupal developments and features
  • Experience with continuous delivery and continuous integration testing
  • Experience working in cloud platforms, Amazon Web Services certifications preferred
  • Ability to clearly communicate with other digital specialists and non-technical partners
  • Familiarity in headless Drupal development
  • Experience configuring Varnish and CKEditor modules
  • Experience setting up moderation and templating solutions in Drupal 8
  • Prior experience working for government is beneficial
