Our Fortune 5 insurance client looking for a Junior SQL Developer to join their team, as they are currently defining and implementing a long-term analytics strategy for a direct to consumer platform. We are looking for an entry level individual with strong database development knowledge, specifically a SQL database. As the Junior SQL Developer, you will be writing SQL queries to extract insurance industry data, website data, and marketing data in which you will then plug into staging tables to translate. Additionally, you will play a role in monitoring and fixing any errors found in tasks. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years experience in writing SQL queries Experience in database programming Proficient understand the ETL workflow Knowledge of SSIS Azure exposure not required, but big plus RESPONSIBILITIES: Write SQL queries to extract insurance industry data, website data, and marketing data Read data and put into staging table to translate it Use Jira Board to import tasks for completion Evaluate the quality of information entered into information systems and develops mechanisms from improvement. Determine the ramification of poor quality information and develop mechanisms for localizing and minimizing its impact. Detect and resolve problems related to performance and reliability of application and databases.
